Now, that's deep. I think where that movie was shot was on the Westside of Cleveland.

That is true, it was on the local news here in Cleveland a few weeks back. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

OMG. I just saw it on TV last weekend...really late at night. I got sucked in when I saw it had Sheila E in it. It's my new favorite movie.I've been telling everyone at work about it!
BTW, just because someone has never heard of it or seen it before doesn't mean they're young...they could have grown up in a cultural wasteland (e.g. on a farm in Iowa) like me The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

What house are you talking about?
Are you talking about Christmas Story? Was that movie filmed in Cleveland? The story takes place in Northwest Indiana close to where I grew up.

I remember watching a show on TV where this movie was being discussed. From what I remember, parts of the movie were filmed in Cleveland, Ohio (where they show the Terminal Tower, the parade and some other scenes). The other parts must have been filmed in Indiana. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Some parts were filmed at Halle's and Higbees Department Stores in downtown Cleveland during Christmas Time. [Edited 4/16/05 10:35am]
