It's all relative.

1. Bryan Adams - Everything I Do
2. Carpenters - Close to You
3. Louis Armstrong - We Have All the Time in the World
4. Elton John - Your Song, Rod Stewart - Have I Told You Lately (tie)

nod I agree. You would expect sappy love songs to be play at a wedding.

Do you play weddings?

Is Bandykoot your band?

Why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near?

Nah, they want rock music - I think they are bikers.

Although I may try and do a Metallica-meets-GunsnRoses version of that Angry Anderson song they used for Scott and Charlene's wedding on Neighbours.....It'd have to be somewhat speeded up, though headbang

I'm afraid not, no. I joined in May of last year and played my first gig in June (Hey, I like to be well-rehearsed! lol) and the tracks were recorded before that.

We'll be doing some recordings soon, so watch this space.

Thanks for asking, though thumbs up!

This Bryan Adams hate thing is becoming real old, real fast. Don't you have to go play guitar in your bedroom, or something?

surely the chicken dance and the macarena are more frequently played at wedding receptions than all of these put together.

Those songs were the most popular for the "first dance" as a (UK) couple.

MrSquiggle

I heard about a couple who asked the old lady on the organ at their wedding to play "the theme from Robin Hood" (meaning "Everything I Do", from the movie) for the slow dance. The lady agreed but gave them a funny look, when the moment came she played the old "Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding through the glen" song lol Think it's an urban myth
