clapping They were really good....I saw them perform at Astroworld one time and was very impressed. Dale Bozzio became frustrated with people throwing things up on the stage and threatened to walk off at one point. Terry had a completely electronic drum kit which sort of resembled a wet bar lol

Ah, a fellow Houstonian! How well I remember seeing concerts at Atroworld back in the day (Howard Jones springs to mind!)

Just a side note, Missing Persons is actually working on a new album. In fact, the reunion of this band is why Warren Cucurrullo left Duran Duran (thus, leading to the reunion of the original five members of that band). Whether it will ever see the light of day, I'm just not sure, but they are supposedly in the process of cutting new tracks, last I heard.

Warren has been doing semi-porn, mostly nudity.

Really just a side project from Daniel Ash while he was in Bauhaus. His last solo album was I think back in 2002. The entire Tones On Tail output can of course be found on the excellent 'Everything' double CD.

That's because Ian Astbury is too busy touring with The Doors.

I find it funny when people name dead musicians. I think it's obvious why we haven't heard from them in a long time.

If you look back at a lot of the imagery of the Cult and a lot of what Astbury has said over the years, he has always SO wanted to be Jim Morrisson it's untrue. It seems that he has finally found his dream job nod

Still, I agree that The Cult definitely had some great tracks headbang and yes, their last one, Beyond Good and Evil (feat. ex-GNR/ current Velvet Revolver drummer Mat Sorum) was pretty good too.

Rozz is dead, but I'm sure Valor is still releasing albums. Not that anyone cares.

Alien Sex Fiend

I saw them live maybe six years ago. 25 years in the biz, it's about time they called it quits, but noooo, a new album was released last year and they are on tour in Europe this year.

Anyone say Sisters of Mercy? I'm too lazy to scroll back down.

Andrew Eldritch is holding out for a recording contract that he thinks is worthy of the Sisters. Which means we'll never see another Sisters Of Mercy album.

About Rozz or Valor? Rozz committed suicide a few years back. I remember at the time it was worth a mention on MTV News--probably the closest Christian Death have ever come to being on MTV.

I love those first two albums, 'Only Theater Of Pain' and 'Catastrophe Ballet'--the latter being one of the best goth albums of all time I think.
