Wait, there's something worng with being bisexual?

If you're the kind of person who will lie on yourself just to shock people (example: Jack Tripper), then yes.

And I know for a fact at least Britney was lying!

Christina? It's a close call. But I think she lie too!

You've never seen 2 straight women kiss with their tongues???

No it didn't.

Uh, yeah it did. Where have you been for the last year and a half? After that happened, a lot of people I know stopped liking her. Yeah, her ablum sucked but the superbowl incident really hurt her career. When everyone thinks of her now, they think of the superbowl incident. I was offended at her doing that but people need to move on. She made a mistake.

that doesn't address the point. you said that the people complaining abut Janet's titty at the Super Bowl are the same people buying pornography, etc. what makes you say that?

If you were offended by that you must either be seriously sexually repressed or seriously kidding. In Europe everyone laughed about it and the fuss you lot made over what was obviously a blatant publicity stunt.

What REALLY hurt Janet's career last year was the mediocre "Damita Jo" album, not the way she chose to publicise her new album.

If she comes back with a really strong new album later this year, which I expect she will, then people will call her a "survivor" for weathering the "storm" puritanical nitwits kicked up over her "wardrobe malfunction".

Nudity shouldn't be seen as a big deal anywhere.

Totally Agree, though nudity is a bigger issue in the states than it is in Europe.
Nudity is beautiful. Here in Toronto, woman are allowed to go topless, though i haven't seen anyone do it yet...

I am so happy to see a lot of people here post what really happened to Janet. The day after the SB, her single was played 24/7 on 3 NYC stations. The reaction, on the countdowns her song was in a couple of top ten most requested songs and number one, on one of the countdowns. Not only that, this HUGE billboard of her new album cover was raised in Times Square.

If...IF Janet had a kick ass first single off of her album, we would not be sitting here going...Oh, the SB really hurt her.

No,, what really hurt her? A weak first single. I was someone who was eagerly anticipating her album. Once I heard the first single and heard the rest of the album, I went from being overly eager to apathetic.

I think out of all the tracks, I liked maybe a grand total of three.

Ok after seeing this clip all the way through and at this camera angle. I take back most of what I said on the O'Jays thread. I never saw this version of the incident and I didn't watch the superbowl last year. Justin should have shared the blame. That, however, does not make Janet blameless in anyway shape or form. She did it for publicity and it blew up in her face. She thought she was going to be able to pull the little I'm so innocent, I didn't mean for that to happen, giggle, giggle heehee act and get away with it. But, she got her NWUC card pulled instead. It was about time. (It's happened to some of the biggest names in entertainment... Michael Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, Prince to name a few.) I, as a casual fan, know waaay too much about Janet's body parts, personal piercings, etc., than I need to know.

As for Justin, yeah he got a free pass this on this one. But he better watch his step. As, I said he needs MTV, MTV doesn't need him. I wonder what the hell his mother said to him after that stunt.

The SuperBowl incident was a disaster for her career, but I really think she could have bounced back if she had made a kickass, adventurous album. But instead, she released yet another sex-themed R&B album where she appears topless on the cover (great way to take attention away from "Boobgate",huh?).She simply ran out of ideas and it was obvious to everyone.
