I agree. Unless it's Sade. She's always worth the wait. No it´s not. I´d radher wait for something worthy waiting for than have some piece of shit released every year as most nowaday´s celebrity like Usher, Britney, Kylie and others do. It´s not just Sade and MJ. I think that Lisa Stanfield, Seal and others are pretty much the same. 'Invincible' has it's moments,but I think the general consensus is that it wasn't worth the wait 
I get mad when my favorite artists take too long to release new music.Can you imagine what D'Angelo's fans are going through? His last album came out in 1999!! 2 years should be the limit. | |

Exactly, 2 years are more than enough to record, produce and ship out a new album. I think some artists eventually feel it is like a chore to create a new album as opposed to something they enjoy doing. | |

Could this be the year that both Janet and Madonna comeback commerically? It shouldn't matter but I think that the dissapointing sales of both their albums resulted in a lack of singles and thus videos (more lack of videos in Madonna's case...nothing for "Nothing Fails"...if the single and album were popular, I don't think she would have gotten away with that) and in the case of Janet, possibly, no tour... | |
