Things we've learned from thesexofit thesexofit is one of my favorite orgers. I have learned many things from him:
1. The drum machine was invented by new jack. 2. New jack influenced all music produced from 1987-1993. 3. Donny Osmond is the shit. 4. Off The Wall is a horrible album. No, really! 5. Debbie Gibson, NKOTB and Hammer are underrated cult items. What have you learned from thesexofit?

A - He likes what he likes B - He's not ashamed of what he likes C - He's not easily embarrassed or intimidated by others You gotta love him for that. Probably the best way for me to salute him, is to paraphrase a line from the Godfather of Soul... Good luck to you, Mr. Loud and Wrong Then keep on singing, them same old funny song(s) ...Sing on brother. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

Oh, come on. He deserves credit for not listening to music simply as a name brand. So he likes artists that most people detest- I say more power to him! There's no such thing as a bad opinion when it comes to music, nor is there a definite standard for what is good. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

Exactly. It's one thing to have a different opinion from someone. But to go out of your way to make someone feel bad or wrong for what they like is just obnoxious. I see that more and more here lately.

I've learned that some1 who has that much obscure musical knowledge about such a specific time and place must b very open-minded. That, and he's 1 of the few orgers that constantly brings up songs I haven't heard in 4ever, but loved in high school. Listen to me on The House of Pop Culture podcast on itunes http://itunes.apple.com/u...d438631917

I'm the same way and I admire him for that. Andy is a four letter word.

of course, thesexofit is just as guilty of judging other people's musical tastes as anyone else around here, but i will give him this: it's gotta take a lot of resolve and energy to be one of the org's contrarian characters, whether it's an intentional effort or not.

I don't believe a word he says (about his taste in music or others' tastes) but it amuses me.

I totally respect you (ok, except that bit about the Joey Lawrence poster), but we have our org personalities to maintain. This was intended to be a fun thread but everyone interpreted it as I was bashing your tastes.

Voices making this thread wasn´t nice of you! Whether it was a joke or not. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."
