Courtney Love as Linda Lovelace!... http://aolsvc.news.aol.co...01&cid=918 ...oh how the musically marginal have fallen. (At least she didn't have very far to fall.) And of course, the drugs made 'em do it. Hate anyone? Sorry if this has been posted before but I found this quite humorous Just heard this on the news today and Courtney is not someone I keep in my sights. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

i think courtney's a great performer - i've seen her live and i've followed her work, and the woman knows how to put on a spectacle, that's for damn sure.
i do wish she'd tame her demons and focus a bit, because i think she's wickedly witty and a pretty good lyricist and she could kick the world's ass if she wanted, but maybe her demons are part of the package at this point, i dunno. this should be an interesting casting choice, especially if they get her to loosen up a bit. i've always found her acting to be weirdly stiff and controlled, like she's trying way too hard to show how well she can reel it in as an actress, when what audiences want to see is wacky, messy, unhinged courtney.

This looks promising, and if she's any good at all in this film then what I predicted before will come true (Courtney's comeback after a disasterous year). She'll be the talk of Hollywood again and with her working with Billy Corgan she MIGHT have an album that'll have some radio hits this time and if the writing is a it's usual stellarness she'll be an awards favorite too. All part of her up-and-down lifetime career projectory.
