Anybody like Jill Scott's Experience Live CD? I've really been spinning this double cd in my disc player everyday this week. The 826 disc is a live recording the beautiful Jill Scott did back in 2001 when her classic debut album came out. I like that version of the song "Love Rain" she performed. The band is very explosive, especially the bassist. The "plus" disc which has 9 new songs is underrated. I like that poem she recites called "Thickness". It's pretty deep. So has any one heard this double cd yet? I think it's great, with the exception of some of those new tracks on the "plus" disc. Check me out and add me on:

i loved it! Fatback Taffy was tight and of course Jill was incredible. A live dvd shouldve either accompanied or followed this release. Footage of great performers need to be documented and made available for future music lovers to enjoy

Funny to see this thread since I was at a party over the weekend and heard a song I wasn't familiar with but the singer sounded like Jill. Then later another song came on and I knew for sure it was Jill. Later when her song with 4Hero came on I had to check with the host and sure enough it was the 826 CD which I own but never really got into the unreleased stuff much. I went home and dusted off my copy and am so digging the unreleased along with the live. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

For me, I GUESS it's better only b/c I like Jill's first album a bit better than I like the second. She's fantastic live, so the live versions of everything sound GREAT But the second disc is kind of a miss for me. I like Sweet Justice and a few others, but the live disc is really the shit
