What the Hell was Tricky doin' on Girlfriends.

I just so happen to catch it last night. Lynn took her brother to audition for Tricky's band. omg He seemed so out of place on there. There's somethin' kinda sexy about Tricky....in a odd way.

Yeah, I haven't really been watchin' it this season either, but when I saw him, it caught me off gaurd. I had to do a double take. lol I actually screamed out, "That's Tricky!".....and my roommate didn't have a clue who he was.

I don't know but it was good. I have an idea that girl isn't real singing the female vocal but that would have been a nice twist if she could sing in real life. BTW, I think he is playing a character, so it might not be a song of his or that he has released (yet).

Hmmm, not crazy about the show but I like that character Lynn (Persia White). She always let's her free-spirit creative side come through. Looks like Tricy's going to be on again. Maybe they're working together since she's a fellow musician.

In addition to acting, White is a singer/musician/songwriter and a vegan. She has collaborated musically with the likes of Dominique Miller, the guitarist for Sting, in addition to other musicians, including members of Pink Floyd and The Go Gos. She also wrote and recorded music for three of the films she starred in, including "My Perfect Date," "Blood Dolls" and "Stalled." Currently, White performs with her band, XEO3, and is working on her first album, which she describes as "aggressive, dark, moody, heavy rock.". xeo3music.com

Tricky Scores Some Girlfriends
British MC/producer to guest on UPN sitcom.

February 17, 2005 - Bristol bred MC/producer Tricky will be stepping into thespian shoes for an upcoming four-episode arc of the UPN television sitcom Girlfriends, the first episode of which is scheduled to air March 21st on UPN.

In this episode, which is entitled "Good News, Bad News," Tricky portrays Finn Robinson, the lead member of a band that is holding auditions for a new singer. When primary character Lynn's (played by Persia White) stepbrother freezes up while auditioning for the band, she jumps in hoping to save him from embarrassment. As can be deduced, Lynn's impromptu performance impresses Finn and he subsequently offers her the position as the bands new lead singer.

While best known for the Stygian encrusted hip-hop experiments that have dotted his seven albums to date, Tricky is no stranger to the world of acting. He appeared as "Right Arm" in Luc Besson's The Fifth Element and has also appeared in the films Clean and Go Now.
