Motley Crue rocked my world!

Saw them this weekend and all I can say is what a show! They were amazing! They sounded great and had a circus theme as their stage show. Tommy lee did a kick ass drum solo. He had 2 drum kits suspended in the air on both sides of the stage and he would fly up to one of them and play and then fly over the other one, on the other side of the stage and play that one. Truly amazing. Has anyone else seen them on this tour?

What was the Set-list? I do not believe that many folks around here dig the heavy shit, but I do.

I posted my semi-review in another thread last week:

"I saw their concert a few weeks ago and it was awesome. The guys are still in their prime (ok, maybe 3 out of the 4 - Mick Mars sounded aweseome but his doctors have said he should probably retire b/c of his spinal cord disease or something like that)

It was one of the most rauchy shows I've ever been to and it rocked my world! Of course I also laughed at 40 year olds in the audience who were decked out in spandex. THere were a few men who brought their young kids - couldn't figure that out. And of course, the girls with the 1988 hair that were letting men around them take pictures of them flashing their boobs. I opted not to do that - perhaps if Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx had brought their "Boob Cam" out to my section, I would have reconsidered."

tommy and nikki are hot but i wouldn't get my tits out for em. not in public anyway, lol!

there was quite a mixture of people at the show. jocks, frat boys and left over hair metal people from the 80's. did you hear that they're planning to record a new album??

Well, they didn't kill each other on stage so that's pretty good, innit! biggrin

They even interacted with each other throughout the show. Perhaps they're putting their differences a side for the time being.
