woot!

Absolute classic!

I never get tired of this movie...the music, the car chases, the car chase in the mall, the great script-it's so brilliant.

Works on every level-anyone who hasn't seen it is greatly missing out.

The car scenes alone is worth it, if not the absolutely incredible music made by some truly great musicians including the great Matt "Guitar" Murphy.

cool

I have seen this movie a million times.

U know what, u need to look out for the dialogue, thats what makes the movie. "i want to eat your wife" or something like that? U can catch something new everytime u see it!

before you get to the park, there's a viaduct that you walk under.

"You Miserable Slug....Think You Can Talk Your Way Out Of This ?"

The original was FANTASTIC...The sequel was G A R B A G E. They shoud've left it alone...It was CORNY as hell and the music was weak.

Imagine the balls on these guys (especially Dan Akroyd who can't sing a lick) to perform after Aretha Franklin & James Brown!

And somehow they made it work by balancing decent the singing by Belushi and comedic performing.

Good choice for a thread. Don't get me started on the Blues Bros. One of my favorite all time movies! I was hip to the Blues Brothers when they used to perform on SNL. This was obviously before the movie. I remember when it first came out, I went the day it opened. The theatre was PACKED! Man, I truly adore this movie. Have it on vhs and dvd. I must have seen this film 70, 80 times. I love also how they pay tribute to great black LEGENDS, not only playing the songs during the film, but having the actual artists perform. There are so many great scenes in this film. One of my faves has to be the church scene with James Brown. You actually have dudes flying through the air. This scene has been copied for a Nike ad with LeBron James and Bernie Mac.
