I know she's an actress but she strikes me as one of the most spontaneous artists ever:

Harle, I agree with most of your list ( the pictures, by the way) except Badu.
I really dig Erykah for a lot of reasons, but she's never struck me as very spontaneous as an artist. Most of her shit seems very carefully premeditated to me.

If we have the same idea of spontaneous, then I'd have to say Prince uesd to be.

I think David Bowie in the 70's was very much spontanious.
He was like a cameleont shifting images every year,
but without really following trends or sticking 2 a winning
concept but always getting into new unexplored territory without
ever losing his own voice or originality.
