Tania Maria is still bad as hell,,,Outrageously Wild gets a heavy rotation treatment from me music

'Trice is as bad too. She came to our Jr. High in a music class(Along with Brenda Russell), she was lecturing us about the bending tricks, rich chordes and the whole shebang.

I was omfg when she pre4med Fats Waller's "Handful Of Keys" for us. I honestly didn't know that she was THAT wild nod

Damn str8 nod

Her piano reading of "Strange Fruit" is heartwrenching touched and that solo from "Sinner Man" is just wild as it gets music

"Zoning" released in 1974.

Lillian "Lil" Harden Armstrong

Lil was not only one of the first important female jazz pianists, she also was a member of one of the first important jazz bands, King Oliver's Creole Jazz Band.

She went on to marry one of her bandmates, Louis Armstrong.

Saw a late 1960's footage of her in Ken Burns's PBS movie Jazz talking about Satchmo.

She was the one who basicaly pushed him to get out of the King Oliver orchestra and make something of himself solo.

She was a real TOUGH black woman nod

She's labeld as a "Smooth Jazz" pianist, and sounds more "New Agey", but she is my favorite....
