YES it is the JAM!!!!
heard it on Tom Joyner this am P is on that right? We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou

I know. It's "fuss." It would sound a little strange to hear one of my fav musicians cursing on a track (albeit back up singers.) [Edited 3/10/05 7:36am] "Pedro offers you his protection."

Wow that was a deep 1.
I'm a huge Stevie fan, he's my favorite all time artist, singer, musician, anything that has to do with music Stevie is it for me. I've read alot of post on here where people say Stevie needs to go back to his Innervisions, and Talking Book days! I think we all need to realize that was a different time for Stevie, we are never going to get that type of music agan. Those were precious albums, goldmines! Civil Rights, South Africa, Stevie's car accident, death of Martin, JFK, and MAlcom, the Wartergate scandal, the war, we are living in different times where different emotions are taking place. Stevie's album in the 70's and 80's and for what it's worth where so ahead of it time, we are still trying to figure out the magic he created. So people please don't expect that happen again, people grow, artist grow, even Prince has stated he gets frusrated when people keep referring to his Purple Rain days, his catalog is so much more divers than that. The music might be different but the message is still the same, enjoy these legends while they can still play and sing there ass off. I for one will be first in line to pick up a time to love Sorry so long, lol!!!! One LOVE!!

But, I'm sure it's so hard for these AMAZING artists to actually move on without the voice of "Truth" around them ! LOOK AT MICHAEL JACKSON !! I pray for that Brother, but it just doesn't look good for him I'm sure that's the 1st reason for his obsession with children is : THE HONESTY ! Like you said FalseSetto, until they are truly inspired (from a higher calling IMO), the music is just dead. Again, I'm hoping that the rest of the album is not like this and I have a strong sense that it's not, but for as long as he's been working on this album I'm just surprised that this is what we (the fans) have been waiting on...a revamped version of "(Not Just) Knee Deep"???? C'mon now, Stevie, you're sooooo much more better than this.

STEVIE (or should I say His "Inspiration") is much MORE Divine than what I heard on that single to be REALLY "Honest" he hasn't been inspired since 1979 And, that's ok. but, don't just "cruise" & put out any ole' shit cause you were once "inspired" to the point where they had to find a last name to describe THAT "Inspiration" "WONDER" ?!?1 THAT shit should have been released under the name of "Judkins-Morris" same thing with Mr. Nelson's "un-inspired" ass, too *ducks from the die-hards* "Who gon' clean up all deez Flowers" ----Eddie Murphy as mr. clarence

Of course, he's made some really nice albums since then (one of my favorites being In Square Circle), but you could tell Stevie was concecrated by God when he put out Journey. That's why it went over so many people's heads at the time because you could tell he had stepped out of the way and let God have His way with the creation of it. Just my opinion...
