Anyone notice the death of the Foo Fighters I know this forum is mostly pop, but for the months I’ve been on here, I’ve seen no mention of the Foo Fighters. After There Is Nothing Left to Lose they were at the pinnacle of whatever small rock world was left. Dave did side projects, One by One wasn’t received that well, and now it seems like they’ve been forgotten. The last time I saw Dave he was on the stage doing shtick with a puppet.

Explain that Dave with the puppet thing...what happened? The Org is the short yellow bus of the Prince Internet fan community.

Yes a double album is coming. One disk of acoustic stuff and the other disk is reportedly some of the hardest stuff they have ever recorded. I am very much looking forward to it. One by One was received pretty well. Later Cause tomorrow is taking too long
and yesterday's too far away and the reality that you believe in begins to bind.

Visit the Prince forum and wait: eventually someone will bring up their cover of "Darling Nikki." The Normal Whores Club

Grohl has contributed to the new Nine Inch Nails album as well. The Foos are alive and well. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

Visit the Prince forum and wait: eventually someone will bring up their cover of "Darling Nikki." Or Vanity 6's "Drive Me Wild"... But anyway, Grohl's been busy and there's a new album in the can... Neversin. O(+>NIИ<+)O

This was posted on Rolling Stone recently...
The Foo Fighters plan to release their fifth album, In Your Honor, in June. The double album -- one disc will be acoustic and the other "rock" -- took a year to record and features twenty tracks.
"It is by far the most ambitious project I have ever had anything to do with in my entire life," frontman Dave Grohl posts on the band's Web site, adding that the final track listing was whittled down from a batch of forty songs. "There are subtleties. There are complexities. There are extremities. There are familiarities. There is orchestration," the somewhat cryptic post continues. In Your Honor features a diverse batch of guests, including Norah Jones, former Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. "They may seem strange to you," Grohl adds of the cast of characters. "They don't seem strange to me." He is also planning to get out of the studio and onto the road. "I have a calendar in front of me that is a year long," he says, "fucking packed with tours that will spin us around the globe over and over."
