Marvin Gaye's 1976 Album, "I Want You"

I've been listening to this album for a long time and I really do think it's one of Marvin's great albums. I have this one as the 2003 deluxe edition reissue. My favorite track on here is Come With Me Angel. The second disc of the deluxe edition has some of the most bad listening sessions of all-time, but they are interesting. I view I Want You as a sequel to his 1973 classic, Let's Get It One. I Want You is one of my favorite albums.

Oh most definetly. It's a classic, and the booklet is good to.

I Want You is my Favorite Marvin Gaye album..I know that What's Goin On is an undisputed classic...but when it comes down to the Marvin Gaye album I play the Most, this is the one for me! That combination of Marvin and Leon Ware just kills me...

..the only thing I could do without is the effect of the "moaning" female voice on Since I Had You (One of my favorite tracks , Too!!) and Feel All My Love Inside..I know it was Marvin's idea, but they should've trusted the folks at home to create their own "sound effects" to this record, lol !!

lol

I have the same feeling about "You Sure Love To Ball" sometimes. Although it's not so obtrusive on that track.

pretty little sexy edit

Yep. This album is one of the greatest albums ever. The cut "I Want You" alone. The musicianship, the vocals, the production.
