Actually these are the very songs this list should feature. Most of the other songs are just bad. These are bad on some levels-- they're cheesy, over the top, etc-- but enjoyable. (You won't ever hear/see me call something awesome in this context) By the way, these lists are made for the likes of Phil Collins and Lionel Richie. [Edited 3/24/05 14:06pm]

this list sounds ABOUT RIGHT to me.
there are of course A LOT MORE SONGS that can be on this list, probably several more Lionel Ritchie songs from his solo period from the 80s on.. the 1 song I MIGHT take of the list presented here is Broken Wings by Mr Mister.. that song DID kind of.. grow on me. I'll see you tonight..

I'm not a fan of any of these songs, but I think some are not as terrible as others.
What's Up--4 Non Blondes Heart of Rock and Roll--Huey Lewis Rock My World--MJ 2 Princes--Spin Doctors Most of it was right on, and even the songs I'm defending suck in the exact way the show described. I love this: "You remind me of my Jeep..." Check this song out at:

I love You Rock My World.
Okay, the video was a bit of a mess (nothing new and just obvious attempts at covering up his face) but the actual song is one of Rodney Jerkins best! If it were by anyone other than MJ, it wouldn't be there.

Definitely. These lists of bad songs that VH1 does are critiqued by washed up musicians that no one cares about(like that guy from Anthrax, talk about bad music) and people who could never be nearly as famous and could as the people they insult. I like a lot of those songs on the list, but they quibble over some of the lyrics that sound just a little silly. So what? Everyone's got silly lyrics. What else is new? I'd say well over half of them didn't deserve to be on that list. Don't hurt me, I'm a newb. I'm supposed to be stupid.

Pumps and a Bump Hammer This is still a stone cold jam. Still sounds fresh. Play this to a uninformed hiphop head, he'll reply:- "who is this? This shit is funky.....what it's hammer? U mean dancing hammer? Get the fuck....." "Rico suave" is a novelty song granted, but a damn fun one to dance to. Some people take music too seriously.

it's probably the worst song ever Too Shy by Kajagoogo....THAT should have been on the list too. And how the hell did Rick Astley get on that list. That man was hugely successful in American & the U.K. [Edited 4/24/05 23:27pm]
