I have mixed feelings about Pink. When she first came out I loved her and thought she was very talented and I still do. However, her songs are kinda wack. She needs better songs. They are weak and too poppy, especially for someone who considers herself to be a hard rock chick. I don't know why she sees herself that way. She is no different to Britney musically, yet she claims she's not. Please! Anyway, I hope she can get some better song writers because she's got a great voice and I can seeing her sticking around for a while.

If you look at the way she is built
& listen to her voice
she is not that bad a choice to play Janis.
Could be good.

To be "Prince's twin" she has to play a plethora of instruments, write her own songs and spawn several spin-off acts. She has done none of this.

Don't get me wrong. I like her. Her last album was quite good and a lot of people didn't get into like they should have. Looking forward to her next LP.

Pink still needs to prove herself more before we start putting her in the lofty company of Lenny and Prince. I really don't see how she fits with them.

I really liked Pink's 'Try This' album. That's the kind of record Avril and Ashlee should be recording. Having Rancid's Tim Armstrong as your producer helps too.

Prince writes&composes&produces&sings his own songs, plays over 20 instruments, dances, makes spectacular concerts etc... The only thing Prince and Pink ever had in common was jumping around in their underwear.

I'll give Pink props for taking chances. A lot of artists in her position wouldn't. Lord knows Britney and Usher have churned out the same-sounding albums since '98.

She could've easily made a "Can't Take Me Home Part II" for her follow-up, instead, she strayed off course and surprised us all with Mizzundastood, enlisting a then up-and-coming former lead singer-turned-songwriter Linda Perry -- which turned out to be a huge success for her (quite possibly her zenith?). I really think Pink is responsible for Linda Perry current go-to/calling card status, everyone is working with the woman now: Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Cree Summer, etc.

"Try This" found Ms. Pink trying new things yet again keeping her collaboration relationship with Perry and enlisting Tim Armstrong (another great move on her part). Unfortunately, the public wasn't too keen in trying out this journey and it quickly flopped. It was still quality material.

[b]I want to know what everybody thinks of her,.. TO me she's Prince's twin in a female body. She's done concerts with Lenny Kravits suprised she hasn't done anything with Prince.

I think it's Pink Prince should have did the award shows performance with not Beyonce. They're both soulful people. Both wild. Both mix lots of generes.
And they're both part of that click, Prince ,Lenny Kravitz,Lisa Bonet, and Pink are closelyassocited with one another.

Pink hasn't been out for awhile, she got anything new coming?

lol i dunno if shes princes twin. but i like some of her stuff. "real love" was my favorite single.

first off, she hasn't changes just watch Driven, the first album was not her at all, I've heard she is back dating Hart again, and she is different that what she stands for and has done numerous times ova, Misundastood, was a gr8 record, lyrically and musically and then as Pink also stated: when something succeeds everyone tries 2 follow, she has said that their are leaders and followers and she isn''t a follower. Bout the JJ film, I believe they r still in negotiations, wit dat, mite b Pink, maynot b, we'll c. Pink is refreshing, from a LOT of peeps who r somewhat creative but yet call themselves "artists" or worse musicians. Pink is pink on the inside and out. love MAd

As Far as musicianship, singing, writing, producing her own music....Teena Marie or Meshell Ndegeocello are the only females I can think of to compare to Prince.

I saw Pink live last year at a festival, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting a great deal.

Her voice was very strong, surprisingly good and she certainly knows how to perform!

I was expecting nothing and was very impressed by the time she was done.

I gotta give props to this woman for the fact that she voluntarily disgraces herself for the pleasure of men by dressing up as a femme, altough she's really a total butch.
