I just saw this movie a few months ago. Not bad at all.

hehe, I practically grew up on this one... have to thank my family for that lol

most people involved were at their artistic peak at the time of this movie.. Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly.. and most of all the songs of Cole Porter, just awesome worship

Hey tA, when did this come out?

1987 (Directed by Taylor Hackford)

I think you'd get a big kick out of this if you haven't seen it. nod

Movies that haven't been mentioned that rock?

All the good musical ones are taken ("Purple Rain", "Krush Groove" and "Rock and Roll High School" are my faves) but you can't stop....the "School Of Rock"!

Other movies that rock (IMHO):

Pootie Tang
Girls Will Be Girls
Nightmare on Elm Street 4 (it's more fun than scary)
Old School
Orange County
Teen Witch (which apparently is now on DVD through Ebay...I should buy!).

Musical:

Death Becomes Her

nod Very underestimated and long overdue for a special edition DVD. Do you remember when it came out that there was footage in the commericals and/or trailer that wasn't in the movie? I'm sure there are some great deleted scenes lying around. Is Robert Zmeickis generous with those sorts of things?
