Got that one on vinyl. One of the classic, classic Neil Young albums. It's a crime that this one hasn't made it to cd yet.


It took me a long time to upgrade this one from cassette to cd back in the 90s. Thankfully it didn't quite as long for me to upgrade to the SACD hybrid version that came out last year. Or the year before. Well worth the upgrade. Amazing sound, and one of the 10 best albums ever recorded in any genre.



I don't know. Before that, maybe it was this one.


Great sound and nice packaging. Would've liked a thicker booklet with more information, but nice package at a nice price. And you can't bitch about the quality of the music and the remastering job.

I'm very happy with all of them. The Drive-By Truckers album in particular is fantastic - if the idea of a cerebral southern-rock band making a rock opera without a hint of irony sounds the least bit intriguing, you need this album in your life.

1.Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection
(I brought the box set for the rarites and the rarities sound pretty good. The book is very incomplete but at least it has a mixture of rare and unseen photos. It has most of his hits also.)

2.Mary J Blige: Mary
(This is her most soulful release, without the hip-hop production. It kinda reminds me of Stevie Wonder's Songs In The Key Of Life because it has a unified and cohesive theme. It's becoming my second MJB album, right below the 1994 album, My Life-her masterwork. All of these songs on here are classics (without the exception of Let No Man Put Asunder.)

3. OutKast: Stankonia
(I've been listening to this album for 3 weeks now and I do agree that it is Outkast's stankiest and funkiest record. B.O.B, So Fresh, So Clean, Ms. Jackson, Gasoline Dreams, and I'll Call Before I Come are unbelievable. The album and production is so diverse and it's ambitious too. How could I miss the back in 2000? I loved Speakerboxxx/The Love Below and I thought it was an overblown and mammoth masterpiece, but this is what I would call the real Outkast masterwork. They are the Steely Dan of hip-hop.)
