I like that one too! biggrin

Me three....and The Wonders, The Commitments, The Mambo Kings, and Buena Vista Social Club. There is also a great movie from the 70's starring Paul Simon called One Trick Pony about a bar band. Perhaps the most realistic movie about a bar band ever made, imho.

A few days ago, I watched Festival Express, which I thought was good, but not great. The Janis Joplin footage, however, is priceless.

Help - the Beatles

I know that Hard Day's Night is technically "better", but I love this movie against my better judgement. It's just so damn much fun, that I can't help but laugh everytime I watch it. "Gear, fab"

I also really like the Wall, even though it's insanely overblown. That scene where Pink trashes the hotel room is just great, and I also love the kids breakin down the barriers in the beginning.

hehe, I practically grew up on this one... have to thank my family for that lol

most people involved were at their artistic peak at the time of this movie.. Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly.. and most of all the songs of Cole Porter, just awesome worship

Speaking of Cole Porter, I just watched both Night and Day and De-Lovely. Both were very good and gave very different portraits of his life. The first was a little on the cheesy side, but a good movie nonetheless. De-Lovely had two very good performances by Ashley Judd and Kevin Kline and was so sad by the end.
