Notes: The Emancipation Of Mimi scanned 226,000, down 44% from its debut (total stands at nearly 632,000). "It's Like That" and "We Belong Together" saw digital sales of 21,000+ and 16,000+. Following last week's new-album release, the older titles, overall, see the expected losses. Some, though, do enjoy increases.

MICHAEL JACKSON - 12,821 units
(Does not include sales for The Ultimate Collection (4 CD/1 DVD), single sales, certain music DVD titles like The One, Dangerous: The Short Films, etc., material recorded with The Jacksons, and Motown era solo and Jackson 5 albums.)

1. Thriller: 3,760 (3,947) (-5%) (Top 20 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Catalog Chart. Exact position to be announced.)
2. Number Ones: 3,658 (3,874) (-6%)
3. Number Ones (Video): 2,484 (2,543) (-2%) (Moves 17-13 on the Billboard Comprehensive Music Videos Chart, 57 weeks on the chart.)
4. Greatest Hits: HIStory Vol. 1: 919 (916) (-)
5. Off the Wall: 777 (757) (+20%)
6. Greatest Hits: HIStory (Video): 335 (344) (-3%)
7. Bad: 258 (333) (-22%)
8. HIStory on Film - Vol. 2 (Video): 230 (279) (-18%)

Notes: The compilations and Thriller hold up well, and Off The Wall sees a nice gain. Other albums see notable declines. Nice to see the Number Ones DVD jump 17-13 on the Billboard Comprehensive Music Videos Chart.

Notes: Not a bad week. The Immaculate Collection rebounds to 3,500+ units. Ray Of Light jumps to nearly 300 units, and the debut tops 200 units. Like A Prayer also bounces back after dropping below 100 units for a couple of weeks. Bedtime Stories drops back to almost 40 copies - poor thing!

CHER - 5,111 units

1. The Very Best of Cher (2 CD): 2,144 (-3%)
2. The Very Best of Cher (Video): 851 (+7%)
3. Farewell Tour (Video): 435 (+3%)
