Remember Christpher Williams? He had a hit with "my perogative" clone "talk to myself"? Then he had a big hit with the superb "I'm dreamin'" off the "new jack city" soundtrack?

I got 2 of his albums. "adventures in paradise" and the followup "changes". He has made some superb slow jams and has a voice like James Ingram and not as overbaked as Johnny Gills.

My sister actually spoke to him years ago when he was interviewing at a radio station one afternoon. she called in to talk to him and he asked her what her name was. Her name is Nikki, after she told him he stated singing "Darling Nikki" to her !!!

Thats so cool. Now there was a rumour that Chris was the one who hit then girlfriend Halle Berry so hard she almost bust an eardrum or something? Anyone remember this?

That last line cracks me up. Sounds like a down to earth kinda guy.

He was fine and he could sing. I'v always wondered why Al b. Sure took off and not him because Christopher could actually sing. He was just up at the Rock in Roll hall of fame about 2 yrs ago doning a mini show and signing autographs. I wanted to go soooo bad (yelch, stupid job). He also was in a gospel play recently.
