Movies that rock!

Name your favorite music related movies.

For me it's....

"what's love got to do with it"
"great balls of fire" (i thought Dennis Quaid was brilliant as Jerry Lee Lewis)
" Sid and Nancy"

also name 3 non music related films just for shits n' giggles...

Rocky
Can't buy me love
Taxi Driver

I like What's Love Got to Do with It, but it was a really lop-sided film. It painted Tina only as a victim and Ike only as a brute. Maybe it would have worked better for me if they did a better job of showing why she was so drawn to him.

Oh oh! Giving me a compliment with your cute self. Thanx , baby. Yeah, it's a good film if u dig Marc Bolan. Ringo Starr directed it. It's about all the hysteria that was around Marc when he was huge.

it has a intursive soundtrack. Remember "rock on"?

Plus Corey Feldman dresses and dances like Jacko.
