If you buy the Japanese Version of stoned 1 it has the bonus track of 'electric ladyland' which is sublime.

Lewis played the intro to 'sign of the times' at one of his Jazz Cafe gigs in April last year.

I can't really single out any particular album they are most excellent.

If I was new to Lewis I would start from the beg and work your way up to his latest release.

I love all his work.

If pushed I'm very fond of the time seq on 'the way you done me' and the guitar work at the end from Stoned 1.

I also admire the guitar work at the end of 'danm' and how it just explodes at the end from his debut album.

I like the ltd 2004 edt because I think 'no hope in here' is worth 100 cds. I also like 'back together' this song could have been written by Steely Dan.The new version of 'lovelight' is very west coast and superb.

Really he sets a such a fantastic benchmark no wonder fellow musicians rate him.
Chaka Khan is another fan as is Hamish Stuart co writer of AWB.

He is also very generous allowing free downloads of his music on the fan site so really folks you should support him monetary and buy his stuff to enable this voice of a angel to continue making this music.

I've never met ANYONE who I played his music too say anything less that this guy is superb.

To me it is like he has just been dropped out from the sky and he IS manna from heaven.

I have to say that I have listened to "Electricladyland" and I'm already digging his stuff... Now I just can't wait to get a hold of his first album... That's what I get for living in the sticks...

as great as the first album is, I'm diggin' Lewis II even more...he kinda takes it a step further with that album: the track, "You Make Me Wanna" is dangerous - his funky organ solo in the middle is off tha Hook! but, yeah, the whole album, from "Party" to "On The Floor", to "The Way You Done Me" "Blue Eyes", is pretty impressive...and oh yeah, he creates everything in his home, Yet it sounds freer and more open (and more professional) than 99.9% of today's expensive studio productions...

Unfortunately not if you are in the U.S. I know stores like Amoeba and Dusty Groove carry them in-store as imports. But you won't be able to go into any Best Buy, Tower etc and find them.
