It's all Sony's Goddamn fault! Something is WRONG with Tori Amos. I have loved her for over ten years. Through thick and thin and breaks ups and albums i've had to put away and pull out a couple of years later to understand. So it really, really pains me to say that her last two albums have...not been good!!! They're so generic and mediocre! That generic drumbeat she's now putting in her songs kills me! it makes me wish i had a music program on my computer to master it out and really enjoy it. Compared to a lot of what's out there now, yes, the albums are good but compared to her earlier work, whatinthefuck is she doing? I don't know what happened with her and her old record label but she didn't sound like this when she was on atlantic. am i the only one who feels like this? Join me under the waterfall

Well not that strongly. I do notice that the "rawness" in her sound is missing. As if she's just a little too comfortable. Do you understand what I mean? But I loved "Scarlett's Walk" and so far I'm loving "The Beekeeper". I like the unhappy, angry, bitter Tori though. | |
