Janet Jackson Fears for Her Life
"Celebrity Justice" has obtained court documents filed by singer Janet Jackson claiming a New York man has been "harassing and stalking" her for nine years.

In papers file in a Santa Monica, CA court, Jackson has asked a judge for protection from a man named Robert Gardner. In the documents, Jackson says "It is only a matter of time before he has the opportunity to harm me." In her declaration, Jackson described an incident in April 2004, when she hosted "Saturday Night Live." She claims Gardner attempted to attend her dress rehearsal and was found "armed with a box cutter, a large pair of scissors and a multi-function knife." Gardner was intercepted by security.

The documents also say Gardner sent several faxes to Jackson, making statements such as "Dammit [sic] Janet I know it has been three years since we have been intimate but if you still love me it should not matter."

A hearing for a preliminary injunction is set for March 17, 2005.
