Sacred Love Revisited - Sting Its been more than one year since Sting released this and since i bought it.
And i haven't listened to it since, I thought this Album seriously sucked. So today i have nothing to listen too, and decided to pop it in, and do my afternoon stretches and exercise to it, i suppose now that i wasn't comparing itto other of my Favorite sting Albums like Nothing Like The Sun,Deam of the sea turtles, ten summner etc.. i was actually giving the C.D. a chance Now it didn't pick up until Dead Mans Ropes, a Nice little song that i got righta away "Never Coming Home" came on, and i started moving, started practicing my pop locking hehe I was feel The melancholy Tranz/techno feel, the whole C.D. was opening up to me and i've finally come to terms that this is a good Album! i thought it all wrong Highlights of the Whole C.D. are Dead Man's Rope,Never Coming Home,Stolen Car(Take me Dancing),Forget about the future,This War , which is one of my true favorites cause he literally spits at Our Beloved Presidents face, And "The Book of my life" which i paticularly live because the amount of Asian Instruments played by Anoushka Shankar, who is a brilliant musician! I didn't even know she was on the C.D. until now! The only song i can say i really hate is "Inside" the song annoys me and it happens to be the first song! Overall the album continues where 99's Brand New Day Left off with the arabic and asian influences, I esentially like This better than Brand New Day ![]() [Edited 2/26/05 16:29pm]

It's a good album. Ironically though, "Inside" is probably my second favorite song on there because of its intensity musically. Lyrically, yeah it's a bit repetitive. My favorite is probably a tie between Dead Man's Rope and the title track.
I actually like Brand New Day a little better though....

Sacred Love was the very first Sting album that I hated! Not even Prince has had a string of music where I loved every single cd he released... This one had no soul, no musicianship, stupid lyrics and to top it off, he had that suck ass Mary J. Blige screeching on there!!!

I thought it sucke din the begginning
But its best not to visualize or compare to it any of other Sting Albums Its very Musical, just not in his normal fashion, I think everything he's done since Mercury Falling hasn't been normal, and im starting to like mercury falling, because i don't visualize it as his album, its just a C.D. We tend to judge people based on their passed works, and if it doesn't turn out similar to cast it out, which is exactly what i did, And if you can't find no soul in Book of My life, Or dead Mans rope, maybe you need to search for your own, because those two songs are filled with soul
