Queen

I was just thinking about the 2005 tour, & I thought I would hit y'all up for some Q thoughts.
1. Are you planning on going to any of the shows, if the opportunity presents itself?
2. What is your Fave Q song?
3. What is your fave Q cd?
4. Thoughts on Paul Rodgers? (Keep in mind he is not trying to imitate or replace Freddie Mercury?)
5. How did Queen & Freddie impact your life?
MY Two Cents Worth:
1. Hell Yeah!
2. Love Of My Life
3. A Day At The Races
4. I think he will do as well as anybody possibly could.
5. God Save The Queen, my life & artistic world would not be the same without any of my major influences but, Freddie was even more special because he was so FEARLESS! Your turn y'all
If you wanna get higher, ya gotta get DEEP!

1. Are you planning on going to any of the shows, if the opportunity presents itself? I don't think they're going to tour here where I am, if they would I would be there right away.
2. What is your Fave Q song? I Want To Break Free
3. What is your fave Q cd? News Of The World
4. Thoughts on Paul Rodgers? (Keep in mind he is not trying to imitate or replace Freddie Mercury?) He has big shoes to fill but I'm sure he'll do fine.
5. How did Queen & Freddie impact your life? Boring answer but they simply gave me some of the best music I've ever heard.

Considering Queen was all I listened to from like the 8th grade to 11th I'm pretty excited. Paul Rodgers (of Bad Company and Free from those who don't know) has a great voice so it's no problem there. Queen kinda impacted my life, Brian May inspired me to want to become a guitarist like countless others.

I SOO would if I could sad

2. What is your Fave Q song?
Way too many to narrow it down...

3. What is your fave Q cd?
same as above

4. Thoughts on Paul Rodgers? (Keep in mind he is not trying to imitate or replace Freddie Mercury?)
I don't mind him...as long as he DOESN'T try to imitate the inimitable Freddie worship

5. How did Queen & Freddie impact your life?
Queen and Freddie have helped get me through the darkest periods of my life and have helped me celebrate the best!

Yeah, I will go if they swing my way, wanna hear Brian May live before I die!

2. What is your Fave Q song?
Spread your wings. Gorgeous tune.

3. What is your fave Q cd?
Difficult to say. Queen 2 perhaps?

4. Thoughts on Paul Rodgers? (Keep in mind he is not trying to imitate or replace Freddie Mercury?)
Not too happy, but I guess that life goes on. I would have prefered they get some guy from a Queen tribute band to imitate The Great Mercutio. I do think that Rodgers is a great singer though.

5. How did Queen & Freddie impact your life?
Bigtime! Words cannot express!
