i like the new song...can't say i love it yet or anything but the first impression is a good one! she looks great...got the fire red hair on again. speaking of which...
is it me or has tori had some work done? i know she was fond of botox but this was more than that. she had not one crow's foot near her eyes and her skin looked wonderful...tight but wonderful. i'm thinkin' ol' girl might have treated herself to a day at "the spa" (wink, wink).

At the Tori meet and greet I went to last year, she had plenty of wrinkles. If I make it to the signing next week, I'll let you know if I see a difference.

SassyBritches said: i may be solo but its quite possible, and highly likely, that my boyfriend will be coming with. he loves him some tori and wouldn't travel for anyone else...well, except prince but that's just because i force him to come with me, lol!
Any idea where you'll stay. Will you make the drive and go home all in one day?

That song she played last night sucked. I hope the rest of the album doesn't sound like that. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

It came out today in Holland. The digipack looks mighty fine, including a DVD with an extra song (?) called Garland and an interview, it seems. At least, that's what the guy at the shop told me.
Too buggered to be able to buy the album. After that I got fined 3 euro's more than the album would have been for cicling through a pedestrian aread. Buggered even more. Bugger, bugger, bugger.

its too bad you didn't like it. tori has a tendency to find a groove and work with that kind of theme throughout a record so there is a good chance the whole cd will have somewhat of a similar sound. from what i know there is a gospel and jazz influence on this record so i don't know how that makes you feel. personally, i liked the song...i loved the melody...and judging from her other work in jazz inspired tracks ("in the springtime of his voodoo", "murder, he said", "you belong to me", and others) it should be an interesting record. Goddamnit, if Tori gets on that jazz crap like Prince did, I'm gonna be pissed. That stuff is terrible. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

That stuff is terrible. did springtime of his voodoo sound like thaat kind of jazz? i think making a "jazz record" and being "influenced by jazz elements" (as well as cuban and gospel) are two different things. i guess all we can do is wait until 22-2-05... and the wait is over! on my way to the gym this morning i will be picking up the new tori cd! its so nice to still get excited about cd releases...prince, u2, tori, janet...i still get that giddy feeling the morning of a new release.
