There are SCORES of other rappers out there - REAL hip-hop artists - who can be considered masters of the English language. Eminem just ain't one of them. The only reason that he gets any airplay is because MTV has a need for a white wannabe rapper every couple of years.

It's not a diss, he's saying he's been writing lyrics since Prince became the symbol that would be 1993, almost 10 years. What else could he find to rhyme with pencil? symbol is pretty good.

I think the anger is an act. But then again, a white boy from Detroit? Like Kid Rock? They are blacker than black people. It must be the culture they were reared in and truly wanted to fit so, went hard core over the edge.

Eminem is a great rapper, but the boy has problems. First off, I'm a Metro Detroiter and he DID not grow up on the streets of Detroit, no matter what he says. He lived in Warren, MI. He's not that hardcore.
Also, I don't really see what he said about Prince as a dis...just a reference, more like.
