if the list of the top 10 money makers... if the list of the top 10 money makers in 2004 are acts like Prince,Madonna,Rod Stewart etc....doesnt that show the people that run MTV or Clear Channel that the money is to be made with these people instead of ignoring them like they do? and not with acts like Ashley Simpson & Britney Spears? ya know in the 80's they tried to cater to the 21-40 demographics because those are the people that spent the money but for some reason that age demograhic has changed to like 12 to 16....i think these companies are gonna have to start rethinking their stategy ...but then again fuck Mtv and Clear Channel both! let them lose their asses [Edited 2/9/05 18:21pm] Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3

Its true. It is as though they cater to children, not even young adults. Its ridiculous.

I heard that Prince was the No. 1 money maker in 2004 (I think $90+ million!). Congrats!

In this decade, music video has been rendered obsolete. They dont have anywhere near the impact as they once had. For one, they all look alike. They are all bland and stale. No one cares anymore. Thats a reason why Mtv and VH-1 are out of the video biz. The medium is antiquated.
