Seduction and Company B didn't have Latina singers, but Sweet Sensation and The Cover Girls were definitely Latinas and so was Jeanette Jurado of Exposé. Having Lating singers doesn't qualify you as freestyle though...you still had Shannon who is considered a founding mother of the genre and Joyce Sims. Seduction was a racially diverse group which did have Idalis who was Puerto Rican....I included them because there songs were still spinned regularly among freestyle sets, they definitely did have a more diverse sound of all of the ladies mentioned... That's very true. A lot of the early freestyle/electro records weren't by Latinos at all--Shannon, Jenny Burton, Freeez, etc. The domination of the genre by Latin artists came later, but it wasn't totally exclusive. April Harris of Seduction seemed to be the main vocalist on most of their songs. I think she's part of the new incarnation of Seduction that released a single last year. I don't think any of the girls in Company B were Latin.

Sandee, the vocalist on the original "Point Of No Return" had a few solo hits like "You're The One" and "Notice Me".
I like that album a l ot as well. It was sad that Gioia had to leave the group (according to the Greatest Hits liner notes) due to "irraparable throat damage" . Then was replaced by Kelly Moneymaker. I heard she was attempting to release a solo album, but nothing yet. If in fact her throat was that bad...I don't think we'll be hearing from her anytime soon or again. Gioia did release her debut CD last Summer on Koch Records. It's a pretty good techno/dance album. Not very commercial like the Expose stuff. The album is called "Expose This". She may be under Bruno in the stores. (Her full name is Gioia Bruno).

Company B was a dance trio from Miami. I think two of the three girls were sisters. Their biggest hit was "Fascinated" in 1987 which also made the U.S. top 40. There were three other singles from their self titled first album, "Full Circle", "Perfect Lover" and "Signed In Your Book Of Love". All were big dance hits. I can get give you exact chart placings when I get home. Like I said before, they were easily the worst of the girl groups mentioned in this thread.

"Fascinated" was Company B's best and biggest hit. The other singles are okay. The rest of the album, however, was really weak. Their chart discography: Fascinated: #1 - dance chart, #21 - Hot 100 Full Circle: #5 - dance Perfect Lover: #12 - dance Signed In Your Book Of Love/Sticky Fingers: #9 - dance Company B LP: #143 - album chart
