Well theres trouble with BRINTEY and her Label JIVE. Her latest CD of Greatest Hits has just passed the 1 million scanned mark in the US and 3.5 million worldwide, but JIVE wants to work a new single from the Greatest Hits called IVE JUST BEGUN, and has released DO SOMETHIN in the UK. Britney however has gone back into the studio without label consent and almost completed a new album slated for an April release. However BRITNEY took a track to a local Radio show and played it, and the LABEL is FURIOUS. The track called MONA LISA, was played and got response at the label however the label didnt know of it. SO now BRITNEY has had to Shelve the album until they finish working the current single, however BRITNEY has refused to make a Video for the US single JUST BEGUN. Something was ODD to Britney fans when she said that she WASNT working on a new album but a day before on her web site said she was almost finished with one. This new CD will probably not see a release in the near future but some of the tracks may surface on the internet as usual. So basically BRITNEY is now in a George Michael kind of status, not appearing in a new video type thing. JIVE however may have to give in to her since they really dont have too many positives right now, JIVE/BMG was bought by SONY because it was close to going under.

Isn't she that label's biggest artist? They better make BRITNEY happy or else.

i like britney but i must say ol' girl needs to put away the trailer trash thing she's got goin' on right now. its not becoming of a millionaire superstar.

I think it's pretty cool that she made an album without the "consent" of her label. However, she has to realize people need a breather and so does she. "Greatest Hits" didn't excatly set the world on fire.

I was gonna say... maybe she recorded the album so she could go and do whatever she wants but, damn, hazzzzIF she could do a video while she was pregnant. Kinda forgot how that might change her abs
