Anybody that watches Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block has probably seen the Sealab 2021 bumper where white Debbie and Marco sing this brazialian pop song to each other. It's pretty funny because it obiviously isn't and has nothing to do with anything (I actually saw the episode it's from). The song is called "Aguas De Marco" by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Elis Regina. It's very catchy, even though I don't know Portuguese. The guy singing kind of sounds like Erik Estrada when he speaks, which almost made me think they were singing the song. Anyway, is anyone familar with this song, the artist or similar music? I'm almost interested in getting a CD with it.

Jobim is amazing. I bought his 'Finest Hour' Best of. 'Aguas de marco' is also closing theme of Jerry Seinfeld's 'Comedian' which has one of the best OST, IMO.

I LOVE this song!! This and other Jobim & Gilberto classics!!! This bossa nove type style of jazz is really all I listen to these days, though my ultimate favorite would have to be Corcovado!! "Oh, how lovely!!!"
