Seriously...does anyone know why MG sounds like Dylan?
Was this his sarcasm? Did he actually LIKE the Bob guy?

It's a sad state of affairs when ya gotta start quoting yourself. I guess I'll have to "Google" this one.

An absolute, utter emotional masterpiece, yes.

I'm surprised more people don't mention "When Did You Stop Loving Me, When Did I Stop Loving You." That's the song that breaks me, right there. "Now as I recall, we tried a million times...again, and again and again...and that isn't all...I gave my love to you..." This song never loses its emotional punch for me.

Like I've said before, I don't know how anyone could not be moved when he sings .....

Maybe my issues run deep or maybe I'm just not the sentimental one but "When Did You Stop Loving Me...." kinda makes me wanna dance. It's pretty up. I like the song but not feeling the pain or anything...it's like the guy that says "NO" while he's nodding his head "YES". Perhaps MG was being reflective but at the same time happy to be outta there. It seems more bittersweet than anything...and bittersweets not a bad thing.

Then again...maybe it's me. Didnt cry for ET...or Titanic. Never cried to a song. Well. Dylan singing "Creep"...that made me cry. But then, those tears were from hyperventilating. I don't know if that counts.

Hell yes! This album is brilliant. Loose arrangement, soulful singing, sometimes sarcastic, sometimes genuine - a masterpiece of putting a whole range of emotions into one musical statement.
