...Actually, one relatively recent tune that encompasses the strengths of P- funk is Sloppy Seconds, on T.A.P.O.A.F.O.M...on THAT track, you really see what Bernie, Bootsy and George's strengths are , and why it's never really the same if any one of those Three are missing from the equation... IMO, this is the closest they've come to recreating the true P-funk vibe. Just imagine if Junie was involved on that track. Which makes me wonder how come he hasn't collaborated with ol' george? Anyways, My tracks would be Sir Nose D'void and Children of Production , these tracks really display the dark funk they did so well. | |
