Everytime an artist releases a new cd they say it's their best to date but of course they'll say that because they wouldn't want to say it's their worst, though in some cases at lesat they'd be speaking the truth if they said that.

Im guessing that isnt what you meant tho, as OF4S was definitely a contractual obligation release.

I think I remember Oasis band leader Noel Gallagher saying people should buy their earlier effort "definately maybe" as it was better then their latest album they were promoting. So it ain't a answer to ur question but is strange, funny and true what he said.
