Wtf has happened to Kid Rock?

I use to love some Kid Rock, him and his boy Uncle Kracker
they had some Fresh Beats,
I'd love Pimp/Hip Hop Cowboy Persona
Country Hip hop i use to call it lol

But recently i haven't heard much of him,
last thing i heard was his cover of "I feel like Making love"
which in my opinion was kinda mediocre
to jams like "cowboy" and "Early Morning Stone Pimp"

Uncle Kracker was pretty good too with Yeah Yeah Yeah, and his Cover of Drift Away

but haven't heard much of them since

Nothing's happened to Kid Rock. He's always been crap. No change.

You had to know those were the type of responces you'd get here.

Anyway, being from Detroit I've followed Bob's career since back in the day. His first album (Grits Sandwiches...) was crap. His second LP "The Polyfuse Method" is a CLASSIC, as is "Early Mornin' Stoned Pimp". Honestly, the downfall began when he signed to Atlantic. nearly half the songs on "devil without..." are taken from his 2nd and 3rd albums, and most of the newer songs were "just" decent. I liked "wastin' time" and "got one for ya" (but then, shit, how can it not be gold with Robert Bradley on it? hell yea) ... I've paid less and less attention to him over the last few years; this "southern rock/rap" shit he's been on just ain't hittin. The sad truth about Bob Ritchie is this: "Cocky" and "Self Titled" are the albums he's Always wanted to make, but he had to get his foot in the door first in order to have the freedom to make them. He'll never top "Polyfuse" in my book.
Keep your headphones on.

I hope he tops himself - sticks some polydynamite up his redneck ass, lights a polyfuse and blows his polythene cranium off.

Being from Detroit, he has been an embarrassment to me and people I know.
Before he made it, he would take his shitty albums to local record stores to give away and there would always be a pile laying there because nobody wanted them. Then when he'd be at a concert or "on the scene" of a local group, he would try hitting on the skankiest woman using the line "I'm just trying to make a better life for my kid" which made it more shocking when he actually made it big. He came from a rich family and acted like a scum bag everytime I saw him.

Hoefully, "bob" has taken his average, republican, freebird singing ass and the trailer somewhere else to call home.

Both him and his triflin homeboy Emenin are both corporate sell outs. I don't have an ounce of respect for none of them. I used to repect Kid a little bit than Emenin but not any more. Hell, I see that now both that they are both full of shit.

I've always liked this guy...for me it was 'american badass' that did it. That song is so powerful it can knock you out, just like that. Last I've seen from him was at the Cma's where he presented an award...get the impression he's trying to get into the country-scene...Picture was a clear attempt, and he's always hangin' with Bocephus (hank williams jr) for some reason. Oh, he was in gretchen wilsons 'redneck woman' video as well.

what's with all the hatin here though, the guy's just doing his own thing. You don't have to like it...but calling him a 'corporate sell out'...? where does that come from? I think that's more appropriate for britney, byonce and consorts.

Why, Hilary Duff, why! For shame corrupting America's youth! For shame! Both them bitches (Jojo and Hilary) can't even vote! Shit, Jojo is soo young, she won't even be able to vote in the next Presidential election! Their handlers should be ashamed, I guess.

I have him chained up in my basement. I think of it as giving him some time to reflect. And maybe even to pick a career.

Don't worry - I am feeding him with bread and water every day. And, overall, he's very well treated.

(Although, I do confess a slight penchant for sneaking down the stairs in the night and kicking him in the nuts..... but, alas, we all have our vices.....)
