Chaka Khan's latest CD of jazz covers---I love Chaka but for some reason,I'm not really in a hurry to get this.I guess I'd be more excited if it were an album of all new songs.There's already too many projects like this!

I want these on CD so badly I will probably break down and pay top dollar in 2005:

I have an advance copy of the album...however it has a label promo announcement over every track telling you to buy the album when it's released...as much as i love the album I just have not got around to buying the official release.

Thanks to this thread, I was reminded that I still don't have that Jill Jones album on CD.

But if it's gonna cost $100 everytime there's an ebay auction, then I might wait a few more years before I treat myself to that one.

My list would be too long to type out. But at the top would probably be Janet's "Janet Jackson" and "Dream Street" along with Neil YOung's "After the GOld Rush".

A friend of mine burned this CD for me over a year ago and I absolutley love it. I've been slowly making my way through the Saint Etienne/Sarah Cracknell back catalog, but still haven't gotten around to picking up 'Finisterre' officially yet. I feel guilty for giving the burned copy so much play and never buying it for real.

The horror*! No. It's cool. There are some albums that I've been pumping up on the Org for years and I haven't even given the artist a dime. The way I see it -- my rapid-fire promotion is payment enough.
