I know what you mean - I think Q Magazine ran a special about stars and their idols. There were really cool people like Andre 3000 talking about Sly influencing them and Lenny Kravitz talking about Marvin Gaye etc....the n tehy wheel out Daniel Bedingfield to say how much Prince influenced him....great, thats got to be teh worstthing Prince has ever done. Its kinda 50/50 woudl I rather Prince had never existed and Id never heard his albums or would I rather that Daniel Bedingfield had never been influenced. | |

Seriously, Arms of Orion, as someone suggested, would be a good idea. That's not one of the better Prince songs and it's a good song for a couple of nobodys to butcher. It's not very Princely so it wouldn't be hard to cover. Of course nobody would recognize it or really want to cover it, but that's another matter.  |
