TAMI Show DVD Question

Ok, is this the DVD version that many of you have raved about? http://atlanticdvd.com.au...21~content

If not, does the track listing of this DVD contain the entire TAMI show?

Also, if this is not the DVD, can you provide the appropriate link?

Thanks guys!

I know there was a thread about this show some months back, it was about James Brown vs. The Rolling Stones in a best band showdown and how James & Co. just embarrassed the Stones. I've been wanting to get those shows cause I never heard of them before, you've just resparked my interest.

The title in your link appears to be a comp of two separate shows.
The T.A.M.I. Show (1965) and The Big T.N.T. Show (1966).
IMDB, Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com), has a rundown on both shows.
(run your search using the titles as printed above)

The 2 threads (one on The T.A.M.I. Show, and one on James Brown on film) UncleGrandpa referred to are here:
http://www.prince.org/msg...186?jump=4
http://www.prince.org/msg/8/115279

The link to The T.A.M.I. Show DVD I provided on the 1st link is no longer valid.
Why this title has vanished from the site would prompt me to say that if the complete
performances from both these shows are on the disc you've found, snatch it up.

And for my friend The Wizard of Wax...
Blue are the life-giving waters taken for granted,
They quietly understand
Once happy turquoise armies lay opposite ready,
But wonder why the fight is on

The track list for the DVD I found does not list the Beach Boys and I am pretty sure they were on TAMI. I fear this DVD contains bits, but not all, of TAMI and TNT. Then again, its only $22.

No problem.

Bit of an update:

The DVD (That Was Rock) in the link you provided, running 90 minutes, is shorter than the combined running times of

The T.A.M.I. Show disc (123 mins)...

and The Big T.N.T. Show disc (93 mins).

The T.A.M.I. Show is the one that features the supposed Battle of the bands between James Brown and the Stones.
There was no battle only a first round knockout delivered by an in his prime James Brown.
Check out the 1st link on my original post for commentary on what some say "may be the single greatest rock 'n' roll performance ever captured on film."

That's what I was afraid of. Actually, I just picked up the complete TAMI Show on ebay for $25. Thanks for the help.
