'Smile' is my personal best album of last year. IMO, tho different to 'Pet Sounds', last year's completed 'Smile' is on the same great musical level as that album. Brian's vocals may not have the range they once had, but they still have a certain naive charm to them. Also, his other new album of last year, 'Gettin' In Over My Head' is very good, tho the collaboration track with Paul McCartney is pretty average.

Let us hope Brian is able to create even more great music in the years to come.

you never know. Some people have a ton in them, some only have it for a few years. When I heard that Smile was supposed to be the lost Pet Sounds I was very intrigued. I would still probably prefer to hear the original recordings of it, but I'm not really much on bootlegs so I guess I'll just settle for this re-recorded one.
