New overseas release for Me'Shell Ndegeocello? This was found on freemyheart.com. But the link is in French. Is Me'Shell releasing a new joint in Feb. or what?

Oui!
Merci beaucoup pour l'information! It says her CD drops on Feb. 14th (how romantic) but I think it will only be available overseas. New Meshell material would be so lovely though I'm no where close to tired of her old stuff. My doctor agreed he'd play Comfort Woman and Bitter during my surgery later this month while I'm knocked out. Odd requests I have, I know.

So is "Dance of the Infidels" her long-awaited jazz album?

Safe to say yes. The album is being titled Dance of the Infidels, and I'm guessing it is after the title of Bud Powell's memoir. Bud Powell was a French-jazz composer/pianist so its all starting to make sense. I'd also recommend the book to anyone remotely into jazz. I can't wait to hear what Meshell has been working on. I'm juiced about hearing her do some jazz.

. [Edited 1/8/05 22:33pm] Actully I've noticed that if i buy from another countries Amazon it's cheaper than the import price on the US Amazon You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna
