The only thing that can save MJ's career Is that he tour, assuming he's innocent.
I mean, ive seen Cher, Madonna, Prince live. I can't die without seeing MJ live.

This Michael Jackson fascination has gone to far. The 326 other threads are good enough. But this shit has gone to far.
why not start mike.org and continue your fixation there? Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

Yes, but I'm afraid Joyce is more popular and well-loved here. See, this is now a Joyce thread!

The thought of a tour makes him pull this face.

Well IMO it's the only way he'll ever come out on top again

Personally I would start with: 1. Old face back (or no new modifications). 2. Good music again. 3. No more scandals.

And, believe it or not, there was a time when a guy named Michael Jackson wasn't involved in any scandal! He should go back to it again. No more inviting the kiddies over for crackers and sleepy-time.

Sadly, I don't think things are gonna change anytime soon.

The only thing that can save MJ's "career" is a time-machine takin
the fool back to 1983 and giving him a good spankin in the process. don't touch the nose, don't touch the kids, don't touch the skin and for god sakes release some more albums will ya? that should do the trick. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

To be fair, I dunno if his career actually needs to be saved. Sure, he's known more for his private life than for his music these days but he still sells a lot of albums around the globe. Particularly here in the UK where Number Ones was a big seller (5 x platinum) and Off The Wall & Thriller were in and out of the top 75 all year long. Besides, every artist hits their peak. Bowie, Maddy and Prince don't have the success they once had. Why should Michael be any different? Invincible was considered a flop but even that sold 5.5m in just over two months. A new album with four or five hit singles should set him straight. Rumour has it there'll be a new release next year, so we'll see.

Well i want something new Bowie Prince and Maddy may not have the same success they did, but they still tour, create new material and such MJ's past 2 releases were both greatest hits packages, and though it's done in accordance with his contract, he didn't tour to promote them, didn't make any videos. And i realize it was because he got himself into trouble. I just need him back, i need him now

Please, there's nothing MJ can do at this point to salvage his career. His fans will continue to support him most definitely....that's it though. love is a fate resigned memories mar my mind love it is a fate resigned Over futile odds and laughed at by the Gods and now the final frame Love is a losing game

I really don't think that anything can "save" Mike's career at this point.Even if he gets acquitted, too much damage has already been done. His image has been destroyed and for the most part,it's his own fault.Even if he makes a great album, let's be honest,it can't possibly make people forget his eccentric behavior, that crazy and ill-advised documentary, the multiple surgeries, and every other MJ scandal from recent years.Fortunately for him,he still has a loyal, sizable fanbase around the world, but it's not enough to save his career.

MJ needs to do a duets album with MOTOWN greats like Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and Smokey Robinson.
Next, hes got to tour North America to touch bases with his fans. Then, he's go to hire new stylists. He needs to leave the glittery broaches, lipstick, and baseball umpire pads alone! He needs to wear tailored suits or jeans sometimes. He doesnt need to do anymore interviews either! When he does an interview, it usually ends up a disaster! He needs to speak through his music and art.

Let's not focus on 'saving' his career.
He should just make new albums for the fans, cause they would buy anything from his hand, no matter what, at least I would.

A reunion tour with his brothers without charging $1000 for tickets. He could perform Jacksons songs and solo material NO LIP SYNCING and remind everyone why we loved him to begin with. I seen the Victory and Bad tours and he was awesome and it was great seeing him perform before his live performance became Memorex.

Like his contemporaries, I don't think he'll ever sell original recordings in large numbers stateside ever again. Those days are over. But I am hoping that the evidence will justify the biggest release he could bring about in 2005: his own. From state custody. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

the only thing that can save MJ's career is if he takes a step further than what prince did:
change his name, and his identity and record under it. [Edited 12/29/04 9:56am] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
