Loose Ends

Y'all remember them, they had the jam back in 1985 "you got me hanging on a string" or something like that, I know there's more I just can"t remember them right now. My question whatever happen to them?

I love "You Can't Stop The Rain" from the second album. thumbs up!

Recently found their debut album on CD, and lovin' it. No clue what happened to the members of the group.

thumbs up! Good lookin' out, boriquateddy! Yeah I love Tony D's "Nautilis" flip on "Keep Hushin'". I like Ice Cream Tee's Can't Hold Back album, but I think "Keep Hushin'" might be her hardest performance ever!

her hardest indeed...I agree totally...just the way she whispers over the track...and still remains gritty...last i heard in 91 she changed her name to Ice Cold Bettina and was supposed to have something out back then, but she went the way of most golden era MC's.

The Zagora album is a classic. I could play that all the way through without any skipping.

My favorite Loose Ends song is 'Mr Bachelor.' dancing jig

I agree! And Stay a Little While, Child is the best song on there. I had a thread going on these guys a while back, and I think Soul II Soul gets to much credit for "creating" a sound that Loose Ends had years before. Some of my favorite songs of theirs:

Hangin' on a String (Contemplating)
Music Takes Me Higher
Tell Me What You Want
You Can't Stop the Rain
I Can't Wait Another Minute
Slow Down
Stay a Little While, Child
(Mariah used that song well for a remix of My All)
