I know that this has been brought up before (that seems to be a common disclaimer with me) but what exactly is the story with sly stone's current situation. A while ago I remember someone mentioning that the tales of sly's complete indolence and wasting away were exaggerated and that he has been keeping as active an any other veteran artist in writing an recording, he just hasn't gotten around to releasing anything yet. Anyone have the inside scoop?

I read an article a year or two ago about a guy who met him and got to go to his house where he played him some of his new music. The article made it sound like he never stopped making music, just got out of the spotlight.

man..that guys heart has got to be ready to give out anytime now...

i hope he is just a recluse and stopped taking drugs..but if he hasnt then his poor lil heart..... his poor lil heart.

There are also a lot of people that die when they stop taking drugs
i guess the body gets used to it and eventually needs drugs to function well
