Still, you have to understand the Cult Icon that Joyce became.
You might be too young to appreciate what Joyce did for our
generation but she became our salvation in troubled times, the
voice of a nation in turmoil.

Like Joni Mitchell calmed the crowd simply by adressing them
and playing them a song. Joyce in her turn calmed the youth all
over the world with her solace and her voice.

To this day, when I think of the peek of Joyce's career, it just
brings tears to my eyes. She was such a strong spirit inside of
that little deformed body of hers.

She was a true trooper, that's all I can say.
