Royal rock/pop/soul nicknames....

Here's what I've come up with... I'm sure there are more:

James Brown -- The Godfather Of Soul
Aretha Franklin -- Queen Of Soul
Elvis Presley -- The King Of Rock 'n' Roll
Michael Jackson -- King Of Pop
Madonna -- Queen Of Pop (not used reguarly, but i've seen it creeping into articles in the last few years)
David Bowie -- The Thin White Duke
Elton John -- The Queen Of England lol
Prince -- His Royal Bandess... and I've seen His Purple Highness before as well.

any others? surprised people like Cher, Tina Turner, Ray Charles, and other old people haven't had the press or their PR people bestow them with royal monikers.

Duke Ellington
William "Count" Basie
Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

Ray Charles' nicknames aren't exactly royal but they are prestigious: The Genius, The innovator of Soul

Little Richard:The Architect of Rock n roll, (I've also heard the king AND queen of rock as one of his too lol)
