U2, DURAN, BONJOVI, AHA...... If U thought last year seemed like the 80's Icons taking back the Touring throne (PRINCE and MADONNA ) Wait till 2005's tours start.
U2 already is looking like the tour to beat this upcoming year. Duran will also be a Strong contender playing theaters and arenas. Bon Jovi always has a strong tour following, look for stadiums and Arenas and even some small Theaters (something they do not do often) AHA yes thats right, UNIVERSAL is going to get this rolling in Mid 2005, the band has signed with UNIVERSAL USA for 3 albums and with the 20th Anniversary of their US number 1 TAKE ON ME, they are going to be re-introduced to America which deserted the band that has continued to record all along. Bands like Coldplay, KEANE, The Thrills and Snow Patrol all site AHA's sound as an influence. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F | |
